WHAT SHOULD THE CUSTOMER KNOW ABOUT YOUR PRICING (E.G., DISCOUNTS, FEES)
We have just a few packages to cater to all types of different events, which helps save confusion and for you to only pay for what you want or need. Of course pricing varies upon so many different things such as timing, location, type of event, etc. I do try to work best with my clients so that they get the DJ that they want without spending an arm and leg. One thing to remember in this professional industry just like any other, is that you truly do get what you pay for. Cool thing about us too is we also provide all around event planning services.
WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL PROCESS FOR WORKING WITH A NEW CUSTOMER?
The very first thing I do with a new customer is to lay it all out on the table. We’ll establish a date and time to discuss things, preferably in person, online, or via phone. Once the time, location, and type of event are set we'll communicate other things. What is the name of the lucky individual or individuals that are being celebrated for this special gathering? Are party favors requested? Are there any specific song requests? Are there any things needed of the DJ all around to ensure that the event is as amazing as expected? Etc.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK?
For years and years I saw DJs perform at various events and after a while I really began to appreciate the art. One thing I didn't appreciate though was was learning of the excessively high prices, tacky performances, and downright ignorance that I saw being presented by so many in the profession. I dived further into the industry and promised myself that I would continue to maintain a professional image as an outstanding DJ that offers competitive pricing and next to none service. The rest is history.
WHAT TYPES OF CUSTOMERS HAVE YOU WORKED WITH?
Customers from all walks of life, from different religions and different cultures. We’ve had simple clients as well as those that may have needed a little more attention and support.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A CUSTOMER LOOKING TO HIRE A PROVIDER IN YOUR AREA OF WORK?
What is the cost of service? What packages are offered? What, if any at all, discounts are offered? What comes bundled with the package? (Lights, party favors, speakers, subwoofers, etc.) What time can the DJ arrive to setup? Are song requests offered? Are all desired genres of music offered? Do you have experience planning events? If not, would you be open to using a planner?
WHAT QUESTIONS SHOULD CUSTOMERS THINK THROUGH BEFORE TALKING TO PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THEIR PROJECT?
Many people are not 100% sure whether or not they may want or need DJ or event planning services. Clients should really take the time to properly prepare their event or function prior to contacting/connecting with the DJ. This will ensure that the customer can fully communicate to the DJ/event planner what is expected. Good communication further caters to the success of an event.
